Guided Trips
Fish Tale Adventures offers year-round guided fishing trips. We service everyone from serious anglers to first-time fishermen. Our boat is large enough to fish a family of four comfortably. Lake Jocassee is provides unforgetable scenery and unique opportunities to catch a wide variety of fish.
Trout fishing is open all-year and peaks during the fall and winter months. Spring and summer offer both trout and bass fishing opportunities. All guided fishing trips include everything you will need to catch fish. Site seeing and ecological tours are also available.
Boat and Equipment
You will be fishing out of an 18-1/2 foot Targa with a quiet 90 hp 4-stroke Mercury engine. The boat has an eight-foot beam, heater, and ample space for 4 anglers. Electronics on board include a Lowrance sonar, Magellan GPS, and Shakespeare VHF radio. You will be trolling using Penn downriggers and Shakespeare rods and reels. The majority of the lures and baits resemble the main lake forage, the blueback herring. The boat and all equipment is new and tailored for fishing on Lake Jocassee.
